Practical guides for getting the most out of SolaceHire — from your first job post to API integrations.

Getting Started

Your first hire on SolaceHire

Create an employer account, complete your company profile (logo, brand color, tagline), and post your first job. Applications land in your pipeline inbox immediately — drag candidates between stages as you review them.

Writing job posts that get indexed

Fill in structured salary and location fields — Google for Jobs and our shared job board both rely on them. Add required skills for better DashScore matching, and knockout questions to filter unqualified applications automatically.

Choosing a plan

The free tier covers posting, pipeline, scheduling, and scorecards for solo users. Paid tiers add candidate search, AI screening, assessments, team seats, offer e-signature, automations, and — at Enterprise — white-label portals on your own domain.

Hiring Guides

How DashScore matching works

DashScore ranks candidates on skills overlap, experience, and role fit — not just keywords. Because it expands queries through a skill graph, searching for "AWS" also matches candidates proficient in related cloud skills. Direct matches always rank first.

Structured interviews with scorecards

Define criteria once, reuse them across roles, and collect comparable ratings from every interviewer — including external panel members who join through a link, no account required.

Skills assessments that stay honest

Timed assessments with passing thresholds, plus integrity signals: the runner records when candidates switch windows or tabs and blocks copying question text. You see the violation count on each result.

Offer letters and e-signature

Upload a PDF offer letter from the application page and send it for signature. The candidate verifies via an emailed code, signs in the browser, and the signed document is stored back on the application record.

Integrations & API

Pushing candidates from an external ATS

Authenticate with an API key, POST applications with your own external_id for idempotency, and include CVs as base64 content — SolaceHire stores them in its own storage, no cross-account access needed.

Webhooks for job and application events

Subscribe endpoints receive HMAC-SHA256-signed POSTs for job.created, job.updated, job.closed, application.submitted, and application.status_changed events. Verify the signature header before processing.

Embedding jobs on your own site

The embeddable widget renders your live job list inside any page, and Enterprise plans can serve the whole candidate-facing portal on a custom domain with your branding.

For Candidates

Browsing jobs on the shared board

Every job employers opt into appears on the public board — no account required to browse. Candidates apply through the employer's branded page and can track their applications after signing in.

Signing an offer letter

When an employer sends an offer, you receive an email link. Open it, verify with the code sent to your email, review the document, and sign — the employer sees the signed copy instantly.
